Event Policy Details
At Elmwood Farm Bed & Breakfast, we are dedicated to making your special event seamless and unforgettable. To ensure clarity and a smooth planning process, please review our event policies below:
1. Venue Use
Event rentals include access to designated areas, such as the 1853 barn, outdoor ceremony spaces, and common areas as specified in your contract.
Exclusive use of the property is available for weddings and other large events and will be outlined in your agreement.
2. Capacity
The 1853 barn can accommodate up to 225 guests for events.
Outdoor spaces may have additional capacity, subject to layout and weather conditions.
3. Booking and Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date.
Final payment is due 30 days before the event unless otherwise specified in your agreement.
4. Vendor Policies
Outside vendors are welcome but must adhere to Elmwood Farm’s guidelines and coordinate with our event manager.
A list of preferred vendors is available upon request.
5. Setup and Cleanup
Standard setup and cleanup services are included in your event package.
Additional fees may apply for custom layouts or extensive decor setups.
All personal belongings and vendor equipment must be removed from the property by the end of the contracted time.
6. Noise Restrictions
All events must comply with local noise ordinances. Amplified music is permitted until 10:00 PM unless otherwise specified in your agreement.
7. Alcohol Policy
Alcohol service must comply with state and local laws.
Licensed bartenders are required for all events serving alcohol.
8. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellations must be made in writing. Deposits are non-refundable, and additional cancellation fees may apply based on the proximity to the event date.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur an administrative fee.
9. Liability
Event hosts are responsible for any damages caused by their guests or vendors.
Elmwood Farm is not liable for accidents, injuries, or lost items during events.
10. Special Requests
We are happy to accommodate special requests or unique setups for your event. Please notify us at least 30 days before your event to discuss options.
