We had a very relaxing three-day stay at Elmwood B & B. The house is restored in period style, the rooms are beautiful, the breakfasts amazing! As casual (elderly) bikers we found Williamsport, MD a great area for biking the C & O canal. We highly recommend this B & B!

We live in the DC area and traveld to see Falling Water in Pennsylvania. We decided to cut the 3.5 hour drive home in half by staying over and the Elmwood. This place was great! The sisters, Selina and Lettie, were so pleasant and helpful. The rooms are comfy with a private bath, and our had a private balcony. They have alpacas, and it is on a working farm. Soon there will be a pub in the basement of the renovated and restored B&B as well as a distillery. Definitely a great weekend getaway place for the area. They also provide transportation for people with Bicycles who are traveling along the C&O Canal Trail. To top off the great visit, the breakfast was phenomenal!

I do not use the phrase "genuine hospitality" lightly, but that is how I describe the welcoming atmosphere at Elmwood Farm B&B. Sisters Selena and Lettie run a stylish, impeccably clean and wholly accommodating inn. The renovations of the farm house are perfect, with the building's and property's historical character beautifully preserved and celebrated alongside contemporary amenities that offer convenience and comfort. There is not one thread loose in this place, and yet walking through the door feels like stepping back in time. Be sure to explore the whole house and ask Selena to share some family history as it relates to the farm and area. Great location, too - near Harper's Ferry, Williamsport (and the wonderful Old South Mountain restaurant), and Hagerstown.

This place is simply beautiful. We were just there for a 20th high school reunion but this would absolutely be the perfect place for a wedding, or any get together. Tasteful, and simple, you feel like you are away from it all. Easy to get to right off the interstate so would be convenient and if you do have a wedding parking is not an issue. The staff is amazing and welcoming . Plenty of places to walk to or slip away for a great picture and the barn is the perfect place for dining and dancing. I would highly recommend !

The whole story and experience of this place is over the top. I don’t even know where to begin. Elmwood Farm was recommended to me by my hairstylist. She had just been there for a weekend wedding and was absolutely delighted by her experience. And then I went there for the annual meeting of our convention and visitors bureau and the look on the faces of these tireless public servants says it all. Learn the story of this place I don’t wanna spoil it for you. And then experience this place you will always be glad that you did.

We stayed at Elmwood Farm B&B a few years ago, using it as a base to ride on the C&O Canal Towpath. Every member of our group of 8 thoroughly enjoyed the stay and getting to know the owners. A friend told us Elmwood was the best B&B on the bike ride from Pittsburgh to DC and he was right.

If you're in the vicinity or anywhere close, make a reservation! I enjoyed two of the best stays at Elmwood Farm. It's gorgeous, historic and immaculate. Lettie and Selena are extraordinary hosts, and make you feel as though you're a family friend. I'd go back in a heartbeat! Also, I ordered the sheets (@comphy). If you're biking, don't miss!

Amazing place to host a reception or a wedding. Alpacas and beautiful farmland to look at. Amazing barn to host all kinds of events and amazing staff to work with here! Looking forward to returning!

What a wonderful Bed and Breakfast, the owners are awesome, I recommend the stay and if you have a wedding or large event give them a call the barn setting is great

The absolute most beautiful farm setting B&B I have ever experienced. It is indescribably beautiful. The farm house has been upfitted yet still remains a farm house. Lettie is simply fabulous and my new best friend. I will definitely be making a return visit. She picked us up in town on our bikes, rinsed them off while we were cleaning up the offered cold beverages on the terrace. I can't say enough good about Elmwood Farm and Lettie and Williamsport!

Selena and Lettie really made myself and my two biking companions feel so at ease and at home at Elmwood Farm. From shuttling us to and from the C&O Towpath, transporting us to and fro for dinner. even offering to do our laundry, we were pampered for our entire stay. Their B&B is topnotch, well-appointed, welcoming, and the breakfast was scrumptious! I would highly recommend the Elmwood and the opportunity to meet two great hostesses, the Wilkes sisters!

I cannot say enough good things about Elmwood. We booked Elmwood Farm Bed and Breakfast for our wedding on September 7th. Lettie and Selena truly made us feel like family. They were so amazing with everything, down to the tiniest detail. Elmwood and these two sisters will hold a very special place in our hearts. Thank you for everything! You guys are amazing. I loved everything about this place. It's was a beautiful location for my son and his bride to have their wedding at yesterday. Everything was there. We all got ready there. Complete hair and make-up. Bride and bride's maid's stayed night before wedding. Bride and Groom stayed night of ceremony. Schedule was kept and they where very clear to say. DO NOT BOTHER BRIDE OR GROOM WITH ANY ISSUES!!!! WE SOLVE ISSUES THEY CELEBRATE!!!!

We stayed one night at the Elmwood B&B toward the end of our honeymoon as we traveled back home to the midwest. The sisters were very friendly and we enjoyed the pups and animals around the property, not to mention the awesome historical roots of the farm and the story of how the family got started with the business. The main building has been incredibly restored and the rooms have completely modern amenities, but the building itself has fantastic Civil-War era charm. The breakfast was delicious (fruit crepes were a hit) and if we're in the area again we would gladly spend another night there.

An updated farm that maintains its historical character and charm, hosted by two sisters who are descendants of the builders, and have done a great job leveraging the facilities. I've seen several reviews of the wedding aspect, we peeked in the barn and it's awesome. But our stay was on a bike trip, where we took advantage of the shuttle service from the trail in Williamsport. We were delighted with comfortable rooms and a welcoming environment. The hosts provide menus for several local restaurants who deliver to Elmwood, this was fine with us as we ate in the lower level pub and pool (game, not swim) room. Breakfast was hearty and had us well prepared to head back to the trail. Definitely worth a stay whether biking or just visiting the area.

We got married, had birthday parties, and all major life events here! We always love our time at Elmwood and spending the night at the Bed and Breakfast! Hard to beat the great atmosphere and awesome owners!

Love the fabulous amenities and personal service provided at Elmwood Farm! I've attended a number of events there in the Barn, Gift Shop and Bed and Breakfast -- Wow! Perfect venue for ceremonies, celebrations, vendor shows and more! I've toured the guest rooms and it would be my choice for a relaxing getaway.

We stayed at some great places on our nine day bicycle trip from Pittsburgh, but this was clearly the best. Selena and Lettie, sisters, who are the fifth generation at this historic farmhouse, truly have the gift of hospitality. We had been on the trail for several days in the rain. They help us take care of our gear and tandem bike. And dried all of our clothes and had it ready for us the next morning. The setting, the hospitality, the food, everything was great. You can’t go wrong staying here with these people taking care of you.

Elmwood Farms is the perfect venue for any event! Our company hosted our Summer Picnic here, and the attention to detail in the preparation was incredible. Everyone had a fantastic time, and we’re already looking forward to returning!
Also, some of our guests had the chance to stay overnight at the Inn, and the rooms were incredibly comfortable. The peaceful, restful sleep we enjoyed there was something we truly missed once we returned home! Our visit to Elmwood Farm B&B was amazing. With easy access from I-81 at Williamsport, Maryland and near to shopping at Hagerstown. The owners were welcoming and treated us like family. They both are descendants of the owners when it was a working farm and were very knowledgeable of the farm's history and lovely home. The property was a part of a former large farm running all the way to the Potomac River. I highly recommend this B&B for your next visit to the area. The alpacas were a treat to watch.

Elmwood is absolutely worth visiting for an event and/or staying overnight. From the warm welcoming of the outside farm cats to the gracious hostesses Selena and Lettie will certainly make you feel at home. Their b&b is clean, spacious, serene, and cozy. It was a very peaceful environment with beautiful views which added to the relaxing stay. They are from the area and would be able to recommend many activities & restaurants to suite your fancy. Samples of refreshing soaps and lotions were available in the room that Selena crafts. Coffee and hot tea were available at anytime. Breakfast was delicious with a savory crepe flavored perfectly with every bite and a sweet crepe that was divine with their special ginger sauce. We had an unexpected heavy snowfall in the morning in which Selena plowed us out of the driveway and down the road to make sure we were departing safely. Lettie had even cleaned off our car before we came out to load our luggage. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about our stay and events we had attended in the past. This is a must stay for anyone who is looking for a b&b where you will be able to relax and enjoy every minute. Thank you both again for your thoughtful and generous kindness during our stay.

We stayed at Elmwood B&B a few months ago when we were in town for a celebration of life for a family member. Lettie and Selena made us feel right at home at their beautiful family home. Every detail of their home is beautifully decorated and we loved hearing about the family history of their home. We truly loved our stay and enjoyed talking with them the next morning at their table and enjoyed the delicious breakfast they made us! The gift shop has the most precious gifts also! We are looking forward to planning our next trip to Elmwood!! Thank you again Selena and Lettie for a wonderful weekend at your home!

A fantastic place to stay if you are biking the C&O canal trail. Lettie picked us up with the bike shuttle (with room for 10 bikes!) right off the trail. During our stay, we were treated like family and encouraged to roam around the property, see the alpacas, and make ourselves at home. Our hosts even did our laundry for us, washing our dirty biking clothes so we could resume our bike ride the next day with clean clothes. We enjoyed the waffles, fruit, orange juice, and coffee for breakfast. We hope to be back soon.

We were transported from the bike trail to the bed-and-breakfast, which was really nice after a long day on the trail. the host are excellent, and breakfast was great. We met some really interesting travelers during our stay.

10 stars for Selena and Lettie! Incredible people, service, and venue. Our daughter had her wedding there and it was perfect. Lettie took care of everything and keeps you on track. She is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, organized and professional. The farm and history are amazing. The wedding was on Saturday. We had the venue from Friday to Sunday so the rehearsal dinner was held there, the bride and bridesmaids stayed over Friday night and got ready in the morning there, the groom and groomsmen all got ready there, and the honeymoon suite (Saturday night) was also there. Lettie took all the stress out of what could have been a very stressful time. Really couldn't have been better!

THE BEST WEDDING VENUE IN THE 4 STATE!!!! We just had our wedding there. Letti was awesome. She was on point with everything. The entire property is perfect. From the house, the rooms, the basement room and the barn. Everything was perfect. It was worth every penny we spent. I would give 10 stars if I could.
